Program Overview

Designed for students passionate about space exploration, aviation, and engineering, the Aerospace Engineering & Space Tech program offers a hands-on introduction to the world of rockets, flight systems, and space missions.

Hosted in partnership with Università Sapienza’s School of Aerospace Engineering and leading space agencies, students will experience a real academic environment while designing, building, and launching their own rocket prototype.

Program Modules

1. Rocket Engineering & Propulsion

  • Learn how propulsion systems generate thrust
  • Explore fuel types and rocket structures
  • Analyze the forces affecting rocket flight

2. Space Mission Simulation

  • Model rocket trajectories using simulation software
  • Understand orbital mechanics and flight paths
  • Evaluate mission performance and outcomes

3. Embedded Systems & Arduino Programming

  • Develop Arduino-based control systems
  • Integrate sensors for data collection
  • Program components to manage rocket functions

4. Prototype Development

  • Collaborate in teams to develop a rocket prototype
  • Test and refine designs through iteration
  • Prepare systems for launch and performance analysis

5. Rocket Launch Experience

  • Launch a student-built rocket prototype
  • Observe and analyze flight data
  • Review results and identify improvements

Residential Program

Two Week Experience - €6062.50

  • Accommodation: 3–4 star hotels or student residences (subject to availability)
  • Full board: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner included
