Meet the Team

John-Christopher Salvatore is the founder of Bravo Sports Tours. A Connecticut native, he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business. While coaching men's varsity soccer at Yale University, he led his first international tour. Since then, he has delivered more than 400 international tours for organizations and colleges. Outside of work, John-Christopher enjoys watching sporting events, running, and traveling with his family.

John-Christopher Salvatore is the founder of Bravo Sports Tours. A Connecticut native, he graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business. Dan Brownridge is an experienced entrepreneur with a passion for building successful businesses and creating meaningful international experiences. His work in student travel began in 2017, bringing soccer teams abroad through Bravo Sports Tours, founded by his friend and business partner, John Salvatore. After navigating the college application process with his son, Dan saw how valuable authentic experiences can be in helping students explore careers and stand out. Today, Dan helps create immersive international programs that connect students with careers, industries, and real-world opportunities while building confidence and perspective.

His work in student travel began in 2017, bringing soccer teams abroad through Bravo Sports Tours, founded by his friend and business partner, John Salvatore. After navigating the college application process with his son, Dan saw how valuable authentic experiences can be in helping students explore careers and stand out.

Having traveled to more than 60 countries, Stephanie has a genuine appreciation for different cultures and the transformative power of travel. Her collaborative, growth-focused approach combines strategic leadership with a deep understanding of educational travel.

Having traveled to more than 60 countries, Stephanie has a genuine appreciation for different cultures and the transformative power of travel. She is passionate about creating meaningful experiences that inspire students, broaden their perspectives, and foster a lifelong curiosity about the world!

Celeste brings a background in international education, student travel, and program development to the Bravo Educational Experiences team. Having studied and lived abroad herself, she understands firsthand the impact international experiences can have on a student’s personal, academic, and professional growth. Having studied and lived abroad herself, she understands firsthand the impact international experiences can have on a student’s personal, academic, and professional growth. Celeste works closely with educators, schools, students, and families throughout the planning process, providing personalized support and helping connect students with programs that align with their interests and future goals. She combines her experience in educational travel with a passion for creating meaningful opportunities that allow students to explore new cultures, discover potential academic and career paths, and gain a broader perspective of what’s possible for their future.

Mindy Zimmerman serves as Administrative Director for Bravo Educational Experiences, bringing more than 20 years of experience in leadership, operations, program development, and service. A proud U.S. Navy veteran and former Hospital Corpsman and EMT, her service shaped the adaptability and attention to detail she brings to her work. Mindy oversees program development and registration, guiding educational travel programs from planning through execution. She has also served as a youth coach, soccer commissioner, team manager, and Navy Command Ombudsman. A proud U.S. Navy veteran and former Hospital Corpsman and EMT, her service shaped the adaptability and attention to detail she brings to her work.

Mindy oversees program development and registration, guiding educational travel programs from planning through execution. She has also served as a youth coach, soccer commissioner, team manager, and Navy Command Ombudsman.

Her honors include Bluefield University’s 2024 Volunteer and Academic Student of the Year awards and Summa Cum Laude distinction. A wife, mom, and Nonna, Mindy believes travel broadens perspectives, builds connections, and creates lasting memories.
